‘Bad Moon Rising’ top – Ette
Mesh dress- Motel Rocks

Moon necklace – somewhere in New York
It’s taken a week or so to really re-think the direction of my blog. As much as I love beauty, I definitely have a lot more to give when it comes to fashion. I’m going to be (hopefully) filling my blog up with a lot more fashion and style related posts from now on. Anybody who does have a fashion blog knows how weird it is. Hassling your family or friends to take a photo of you can get pretty ridiculous and it’s taken me a few weeks to really get my ‘posing mojo’ back and not end up just deleting every photo on the camera. My friends came to stay yesterday so we took these photos and amazingly I was actually happy with them! I can’t guarantee I’ll have an outfit post up every week, but I’m definitely going to try!
Anyway, on to the actual clothes. Ette are one of my favourite brands EVER. I snapped this top up when they were doing a 2 items over £50 with 50% off, so I got this along with an amazing fringed jacket for £25! Their clothes are amazing and I get so much inspiration from their blogs as the girls behind the brand have such amazing style. I actually interviewed them for Hit The Floor Magazine last week if you want to check it out!
The only problem I was having with the crop top is that it was so hard to style. I tried so many different things until I got to this dress. I’m really awkward and barely own any shorts or trousers, but a plain skirt with this looked so dull. I really love this outfit with the mesh dress underneath and a plain high waisted skirt under that. The batwing sleeves and mesh underlay give off a witchy and ethereal vibe which I just love. The great thing about the Motel transparent mesh dress is that you can wear it in so many different ways which has made it a new wardrobe staple for me. My moon necklace is something I just can’t live without either. I got it from a thrift store in Brooklyn and fell in l o v e. I’m actually scared to wear it sometimes because I’m am terrified of losing it! Does anybody else get stupidly sentimental over jewellery?
