Sometimes there’s just nothing like a little retail therapy. I’ve managed to rack up an impressive amount of Boots points lately, so it called for a spending spree! These are all products I’ve been coveting for quite a while now. I’m going to try to avoid going into too much detail as I’ll be doing full reviews on most of them soon, but these are the items I filled up my basket with…
Real Techniques are pretty much every blogger’s go-to brand for affordable and high quality make up brushes. I’m a huge fan and already have the Core and Starter Kits, but felt it was time to widen my collection. I’ve been eyeing up the blush and powder brushes for quite a while now and so couldn’t resist the buy one get one half price offer. The brushes do exactly what they say on the label and are incredibly impressive for such a low price as compared to high end brushes.
I’ve given into the hype on the L’Oreal 3-In-1 Purifying Solution. I’ve always wanted to try out a Micellar Solution as there’s nothing worse than oily, greasy eye make up removers. This is a cleanser, make up remover and toner all in one – the perfect multipurpose product. I’m sure these will be sweeping the blogosphere over the next few weeks. Full review to come soon!
I don’t think there’s a body scrub in the world that I love as much as Soap and Glory Pulp Friction. I was put off at paying £8.00 for a shower scrub, but with my Boots points it was just like spending magical, non-existent money. It’s an exfoliating scrub which rubs away any dry skin and leaves your skin feeling so smooth. The scent is a gorgeous fruity smell which fills your bathroom and really lasts on the skin. This will definitely be a repurchase!
The Tangle Teeze was actually a replacement after my puppy chewed apart my last one (wah). I’ve always had a problem with snapping and generally losing hair since I started dying it blonde. Getting a brush through my hair after showering used to be an absolute nightmare and really damaged it over time. Since using this, it has made brushing so much easier, and there’s been a drastic improvement in the overall condition. I really wish I found this sooner!
There seemed to be no product that I like on my eyebrows in existence until I got my hands on Maybelline Brow Drama Mascara. I’ve tried Benefit’s Brow Zings, using eyeshadow, and too many eyebrow pencils to name. I’ve been on the look out for a brow mascara – MAC’s Brow Set has always tempted me, but I didn’t want to risk the price tag as I’ve never tried one out before. Maybelline have come to the rescue with this product and I can’t rate it enough. A review of this will be up soon!
