You know those days where it’s just impossible to get a good photo? This was one of those. September is in, which means bad lighting, which means me yelling at my camera. Not really what I need when I’m on limited time with a train to catch! I’m definitely going to have to buy some before I end up giving myself a hernia. I want my blog to be as real as possible – not a planned post when I’m not actually going anywhere- so sorry that the photos aren’t 100%. I can’t deal with retake after retake!
Tonight I’m off out for dinner with my best friends and then for cocktails afterwards to celebrate two of them going off to Uni. Two of us have already been at Uni for a year, so it’s going to be weird coming home for the weekend and them not being here. Things go so fast! We’re making the most of the night and dressing up, I’m planning on wearing an Oh My Love dress and Jeffrey Campbell Soiree Spikes. Yay!
As for make up, I applied my Studio Fix fluid Foundation in NC15 all over with my Real Techniques buffing brush and used Collection 2000 in shade 1 under my eyes. For my cheeks, I used a tiny amount of MAC Harmony (it’s so so dark) and MAC Skin Finish in Soft and Gentle for highlight. Lips are my signature colour – MAC in So Chaud. I used my Urban Decay NAKED 2 Palette for eyeshadow, with ‘Foxy’ as the base, ‘Bootycall’ on the inner corners, blended into ‘Verve’, with ‘Suspect’ on the outer corners and ‘YDK’ as the contour shade. On my waterline I used ‘Busted’ and ‘YDK’ mixed together.
Would you like to see more of these? What kind of make up do you go for on a evening out?
