Elemis Ginseng Toner | Review

Elemis Ginseng Toner c/o Beauty Time Therapies – £17.85

If you’ve ever read any of my other skincare posts you will know that I am incredibly lazy when it comes to looking after my skin. A long and laborious routine is just not my thing, long scientific descriptions go over my head completely, and I’m usually lulled into buying things due to a pretty scent more than anything else.

I’ve usually gone for simple and cheap toner in the past. I’m sure a lot of fellow beauty bloggers will be with me when I say that I only really started paying attention to skincare after stepping into the blogosphere. Using a toner is an absolute must to a skincare routine and is a step I no longer skip. Even after a deep cleanse, the amount of grime and dirt that this product manages to remove always amazes me. It really gets right down into the pores to remove make up and impurities. It’s revealed just how ineffective a cleanser is alone and assures that my skin is completely clean.

There’s something about Elemis that just screams ‘luxury’, from the sophisticated packaging to spa reputation. The product has a lovely, fresh ‘rose petal’ type of scent which is intoxicatingly relaxing. It’s like a breath of fresh air to the skin and leaves it feeling smooth and re-energised. It isn’t abrasive, I have quite sensitive skin which is prone to rashes, but this product has been very gentle. I can vouch that it’s my favourite toner so far, and will definitely be repurchased.

What are your favourite Elemis products? Do you have a toner that you can’t live without?

I love Elemis products, I agree they feel so luxurious to use probably because they are so pricey but definitely worth it, I used to be faithful to their balancing lavender toner as it's such a great product and this one sounds lovely too.

This sounds really lovely! I haven't ventured out into the world of toners that much, but right now I am using the Special Cucumber Lotion by Mario Badescu and it's working great for my oily/combo skin.

I bought a whole range of Elemis stuff a month or so ago and my skin just hates it 🙁 so sad as I really wanted it to work for me. I then REN is better suited to my skin. There is no denying it's a luxury brand, but no for me 🙁 xx
