Hi everyone! I’m sorry for my ridiculously long break! I really had no intention of abandoning my blog to settle in to Uni and so hadn’t written any scheduled posts. After such a long summer, getting back to a crazy work load has been a huge shock to my system. There have been a lot of reasons for why I haven’t logged back onto Blogger lately. I feel that sometimes it’s almost a race to throw out as many posts and get as many followers as possible. My blog grew a lot faster than I ever imagined and I have never really taken any time to think about what exactly I want to put out there. I’m going to be making some changes to improve my blog and make it something worth reading. I feel like I’ve finally got to grips with my new schedule now and so can start putting time back into blogging, which I have missed so much!
Anyway, onto my make up. For my base I used my every day foundation, MAC Studio Fix Fluid in NC15. I’m really love glowy skin this Autumn so I’m on the search for a more dewy foundation – if you have any recommendations, let me know! This look was all about matching my new leopard print Topshop jumper which I nabbed in a student lock in! I should be getting an OOTD up of it this wee because I literally haven’t taken it off since I bought it. Naturally I went for a gold eye to contrast with the sparkly gold leopard print. I love minimal, glittery eyeshadow to brighten up gloomy days. My favourite eyeshadow right now is ‘Chopper‘ from my Naked 2 palette which I blend with my MAC Skin Finish in ‘Soft & Gentle‘ to tie the look together. I apply ‘Chopper‘ underneath my bottom lashes which contrasts beautifully with blue eyes and makes them pop. For lips, I applied Revlon’s ‘Pink Pout’ which has a gorgeous matte finish. I’ve never really given Revlon lipsticks a go but will definitely be looking into their other shades after picking this one up.
My Mum has surprised me with a visit this afternoon so when she gets here we’re heading off to do some shopping and then go to my favourite Thai restaurant in Leamington tonight. Tofu curry and coconut rice… Heaven.
What are you doing this weekend? What’s your go to make up look at the moment?
