Cleanser | Liz Earle ‘Cleanse & Polish’

The Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish has earned itself a cult status over the years. It is without a doubt the best cleanser I’ve used. It effortlessly dissolves your make up and is a lovely way to refresh your skin on a freezing winter morning. It’s perfect for anyone who is slightly lazy with their skincare routine, you simply smother it out and wipe it off with a warm muslin cloth. I have quite sensitive skin and have had no problems with this in terms of dryness or red patches. It’s lovely and gentle and a product I wholeheartedly recommend.

Toner | Elemis Ginseng (*)

As for toner I’ve loved using Elemis which is such a luxury brand to own, this toner does exactly what it says on the bottle and is incredible at sweeping away the day’s grime. The product has a lovely, fresh ‘rose petal’ type of scent which is intoxicatingly relaxing. It’s like a breath of fresh air to the skin and leaves it feeling smooth and re-energised. It isn’t abrasive, I have quite sensitive skin which is prone to rashes, but this product has been very gentle.

Moisturiser | Origins Gin Zing

Has there been a more hyped skincare product that Origins Gin Zing? It was one of my first blog reviews and my biggest splurge on skincare to date. I love its consistency which is fuss-free and quickly sinks into the skin and leaves it invigorated, plump and refreshed. The first thing you notice about it is the zesty, zingy smell which is the perfect wake up call in the morning. It absorbs quickly so you don’t have to wait around for it to sink in before applying your make up – I allow it only a few minutes and it does the job. I use it before going to bed and have noticed a real difference in my skin in the mornings. It looks so much brighter and more refreshed rather than sallow and dull.

Liz Earle is amazing, nothing I've tried can compare! I've gotten a bit lazy with toner lately and have been skipping it from my skincare routine, but that Elemis one sounds just lovely so I may have to give it a go 🙂
