TONI & GUY SEA SALT TEXTURISING SPRAY

Tony & Guy Sea Salt Texturising Spray – £2.19

Wouldn’t we all just love to wake up and have that effortless, I-just-rolled-out-of-bed-but-still-look-as-chic-as-Mary-Kate-Olsen kind of hair? One of my resolutions for the new year was to avoid using heat as much as possible – a difficult task when my hair lacks shape and texture. I spotted this spray in Boots and picked it up on a whim as there wasn’t much to lose at £2.19 a bottle. I have never tried the Bumble & Bumble range but for anyone looking for a texture spray I would definitely recommend this as an affordable alternative. I part my hair in two sections, twist it, spray, gently tug loose, loop individual strands to create curls and then ‘boomph’ upwards. I’m always happy with the results. I find that the product doesn’t weigh my hair down but does give an amount of texture that I couldn’t achieve without heat styling. My only problem is that I do find it quite drying but this is to be expected with a sea salt product. A serum or oil is a must before using if you don’t want dried out looking mid lengths. It’s not something that I go to everyday but it does last onto second day hair. Overall I’m really happy with this especially for the price but I do think that I’ll be looking into more texture products in the future.

What do you think? Would you use this? What are your favourite texture sprays?

Lydia Rose,

xoxo

I should really start using less heat on my poor ol' hair! I've been using way too much recently. I've never tried a texturizing spray… but for that price I'll definitely pick myself a bottle up! x

Your hair looks great! I wonder how this would work on naturally curly hair…

Can't beat a bit of salt spray! Although you've managed to create a better look than I ever can – maybe I should give this spray a go!
I like volumising powders for a bit of texture and shape!

I've heard so many people talking about this product and I want to try it. I own a L'Oreal salt spray and I don't think it works as well as it could. It could just be my hair though, I'm not sure!

I love the effect this gives, I just don't think I would want to risk getting dried out hair after all the effort I put into moisturising it! xx

I've been looking for something like this but didn't know which brand to go for – I'll definitely try this one.

I've been wanting to pick up a sea salt spray forever but keep forgetting! I assume the Toni & Guy one might be priced up a bit here in New Zealand but I'll keep an eye out since it's always good to try things that have had favourable reviews 🙂

I've been looking for a good sea salt spray cause most I've tried don't have any effect at all! Thanks for the review 🙂
